Marking World Day for Laboratory Animals

On the day that is the World Day for Lab Animals SPEAK supporters gathered inside the designated protest area on South Parks Road to make a number of things clear to Oxford University and the Government: That as long as there are sick and twisted individuals torturing animals to death in the name of science, medicine or consumer products, that there will people like us fighting them every step of the way.

Anyone with any decency or compassion could never turn their backs to the animal suffering caused in the labs in Oxford, which is why we at SPEAK will continue to do our best to get vivisection in this city resigned to the history books of shame where it belongs. The animals deserve no less.
