The news that Montpellier had withdrawn from their involvement in building the the new Oxford animal torture lab was welcome but this battle is not over. The campaign to STOP THE OXFORD ANIMAL LAB has reached a truly momentous moment and once again all those people who make up the animal rights movement have proved themselves up to the task ahead. SPEAK is only as strong as the movement that makes it up but it also requires the other support necessary to make sure that this fight against Oxford University's planned animal abuse centre remains as strong and focused as it has so far.

SPEAK will continue to fight Oxford University and all those who are seeking to profit from building the new animal torture lab. Our main strength remains with those activists who give their time and energy in so many ways to the cause of animal liberation but in order that we can explore all avenues open to us we require funds. Please can you help us to make sure SPEAK remains in a position to be effective in SPEAKING out for the voiceless and making sure that together we STOP THE OXFORD ANIMAL LAB.
